SMS Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Interventional Pain Services of Palm Beach ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses and protects information in connection with our text messaging program. It supplements, and does not replace, our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information we collect

When you opt in to text messages, we collect your mobile phone number, your name, the date and method of your consent, and records of the messages we send and the replies you send, including opt-out requests.

How we use it

We use this information only to send the text messages you agreed to receive, to respond to your replies, to honor opt-out requests and to keep records of consent as required by law.

No sharing of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold to or rented to any third party.

We use a text messaging service provider to deliver our messages. That provider receives your phone number and message content only as needed to send messages on our behalf, and is bound by a written agreement, including a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement, that prohibits using your information for any other purpose. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Your health information

Standard text messages are not encrypted and could be read by others who have access to your phone. We keep the health information in our texts to a minimum. Our texts will not include diagnoses, test results or other sensitive details. If you prefer not to receive texts, tell us and we will contact you another way, such as by phone or mail.

Please do not text us medical questions, symptoms or emergencies. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Opting out

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. You can also call us at 561-681-9808.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect for our text messaging program.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
